He's the third-highest earning New York-bred of all time (behind only Mind Your Biscuits and Funny Cide). Despite his Empire State breeding, he raced entirely in Japan (and once in Hong Kong). After several years at stud, first in Japan then at Rockridge Stud in Hudson, NY, he now calls Old Friends at Cabin Creek home. His name is A Shin Forward. Yesterday I got my first proper winter photo of him as little flurries of snow were falling at the farm.
